The First Izannah I Saw in Person

In 2007 I saw my first Izannah Walker doll in person.  I didn't know what I was doing then, just that I was thankful to have an opportunity to see this beauty in person and be able to photograph her because of Sue Singer's generosity at Lucy's Doll House.  Now when I have the opportunity to document an Izannah Walker doll, I try to take photos from specific vantage points. I didn't know to do that then.

I've deleted my Picturetrail hosting and am trying to consolidate all the pictures to do with this blog in the blog archives.  So I'm reposting.  But it's lovely to revisit this doll again.  Enjoy.

  1. MERRY CHRISTMAS DIX! She DOES look like my dollye~ and you know what else....did you expand the picture of her hand I posted~ dont know if you can tell, but the thumb style Izannah used, is quite similar to my girls thumbs~ VERY interesting! If she was a lover of dolls, as we know she was, I bet she spent many hours studying them, and bet she saw some AWESOME dolls! xoxoxox rachael

  2. Thank you for reposting the pics. I never get tired of looking at the dolls. I love her dress too. I always wonder what little girl was so fortunate to have recieved on of these dolls on Christmas or their birthday back in the day. So joyful.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year of new finds.

    1. You're welcome! I'm slowly trying to get all my pictures in one place (Picasa). And get them reloaded here.
